Welcome to the new alumni web page for the UAA School of Nursing. We value your interest in the nursing school and in the programs it offers. Hopefully your education here has helped you realize the benefits of a nursing career and that you are happy and successful.
Since 1971 when the first associate degree class was started at Anchorage Community College, 1978 when the Bachelor’s program was initially accredited by the National League for Nursing, and 1981 when the first student was admitted to the Masters program we alumni have been a significant part of an Alaskan health care network.
Everyday many alumni of the UAA School of Nursing are providing for the health of Alaskans throughout the state as well as in the USA and in other countries. We work in a wide variety of settings and what we do is diverse. But we all share our education at UAA.
This web site is created for us to acknowledge our common history and purpose.
Have you ever wondered what happened to the student who studied with you for beginning med-surg or the instructor who helped you understand pediatrics? They may be wondering where you are. This alumni web site is intended to celebrate relationships and experiences in nursing.
