ADJUNCT FACULTY
Adjunct faculty have a vital role in both the UAA School of Nursing Association and Baccalaureate degree nursing programs. Recruitment for adjunct faculty is ongoing. Adjunct faculty positions are often available in a variety of clinical specialty areas including medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetrics, psychiatric, and community. One benefit provided for UAA adjunct faculty is a 3 credit tuition waver. The School of Nursing provides orientation to university and school of nursing policies and procedures and the physical facility, guidance in teaching-learning and teaching-learning resources.
Associate Nursing Program (AAS)
The Associate Nursing Program functions on a semester system of August –December and January –May. Adjunct faculty are hired throughout the year for one or more semesters. Contact Carol Coose, Associate Nursing Program Chairperson, at AFCSC@uaa.alaska.edu or 907-786-4577.
Baccalaureate Nursing Program (BS)
