Alaska
Center for Rural Health at UAA was
created in 1987 by rural health care providers,
educators, and administrators. It is a private,
non-profit corporation housed within the School
of Nursing, University of Alaska Anchorage. ACRH
is overseen by a board comprised of leaders that
reflect a myriad of disciplines: physician assistant,
physician, health administrator, higher education,
nursing, borough government, tribal provider,
private practice, health consumer, oral health,
and mental health.

The Alaska
Native Tribal Health Consortium is
a non-profit health organization owned and managed
by Alaska Native tribal governments and their regional
health organizations. The Consortium was created
in 1997 to provide statewide Native health services.
Through its six divisions, the Consortium works in
cooperation with tribes, Native health organizations,
and municipalities to achieve its goals. ANTHC divisions
are Aaska Native Medical Center (owned and managed
with SouthCentral Foundation); Environmental Health
and Engineering; Community Health Services; Information/Technology;
Human Resources; and Administration.

Indian Health Service (IHS)

The
AlaskAdvantage Loan
AlaskAdvantage Programs are a suite of outreach and student financial aid
products and services designed to increase Alaskans’ access to the
benefits of higher education. AlaskAdvantage education financial aid products
are designed to provide Alaskans and students attending school in Alaska
with the lowest possible costs of financial aid. By packaging federally
guaranteed aid with state supplemental education loans, ACPE is able to
leverage savings that result in greatly reduced student costs.
