DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.
Staff and Nurses from around the world work alongside locally hired staff to assist people struggling to survive amid armed conflicts, nutritional crises, natural disasters and epidemics - regardless of political, religious or economic interest. In 2006, MSF undertook over 9 million patient consultations.

FEDERAL STUDENT AID GATEWAY
The nations governors recently urged qualified Pell Grant-eligible students to apply for new grants worth between $750 and $4,000 that will help make college more affordable. The new Academic Competitiveness (AC) grants and the National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) grants provide $790 million in funding for this fall and $4.5 billion over the next five years.
